[CAROLYN speaking] Welcome. My name is Carolyn and I am the CEO of Women with Disabilities Australia. I am really proud to introduce you to a new website we have developed called Our Site.

[CAROLYN] The Our Site website has been created by women and girls with disability, for women and girls with disability.

[CAROLYN] It provides information, stories, videos and other resources on five main topics related to the rights of women with disability. These topics have been prioritised by women with disability themselves.

[CAROLYN] They are:

[CAROLYN] Your Rights. This section provides information on the rights of women and girls with disability, including United Nations Conventions and Australian laws.

[CAROLYN] Lead and Take Part. This section provides information about being a leader and taking part in every aspect of your community.

[CAROLYN] Life Choices. This section provides information that supports your right to make your own choices and decisions in everyday life.

[CAROLYN] Sex and Your Body. This section provides information about your right to express your gender and sexuality, to have relationships and to raise a family.

[CAROLYN] Safety from violence. This section provides information on your right to be free from any form of violence.

[CAROLYN] Within each of these sections there are lots of different pages.

[CAROLYN] Once you go into one of these pages, you will find lots of information as well as videos, images and links.

[CAROLYN] At the bottom of every page you will find a collection of ‘Important Resources’ that you can view and also download.
