Amanda’s practice has spanned many decades across various mediums. She is drawn to the natural world, architecture, dreams and people. Recently Amanda has discovered an affinity for printmaking. She has exhibited in Viral Virality- A Virtual Exhibition (2020) and End of Year Exhibition (2019) at the HR Gallop Gallery, Wagga Wagga.
I was looking through an art book with works of all the old masters and saw a nice portrait of a woman. I thought she looked beautiful and wanted to attempt to draw her- my first drawing of a person ever! I was inspired by a fairy witch angel and decided to create her in pastels.
