The Artist

My name is Emma and I  am a 46 year old woman with a Psychosocial disability. I live in Brisbane with my husband and 13 year old son. I have always loved and appreciated art but I only really started making my own Art last year in 2020. Last year I battled Cancer and I taught myself how to use Polymer Clay to make Earrings.  I really enjoy using clay as a medium because it is virsital and feels therapeutic when I kneed it.

Artist Statement

This peice represents hope and personal growth.   The colours I used are light and bright and  represents hope. The leaf shape represents personal growth, like new leaves growing on trees.
